1. Overview

This website and online store (the “Site”) is operated by Nomi Glow Co., doing business as Casa de Ajéí (“Casa de Ajéí,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing our Site or purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), including any policies referenced herein, including our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the Site or use our Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use this Site or make a purchase.

3. Online Store Platform

Our checkout and ecommerce services are powered by Shopify. While our domain may be hosted through Squarespace, all purchases are processed securely through Shopify and its payment providers.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time, to the extent permitted by law.

4. Products and Product Information

We offer candles and home fragrance products (“Products”). All descriptions, images, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.

Handcrafted and Ingredient Standards

Our candles are handcrafted in small batches using a coconut wax blend and fragrance oils selected to meet our highest internal clean ingredient standards. Every component is intentionally chosen with quality, performance, and environmental consideration in mind.

Because our products are made by hand and may contain naturally derived ingredients, slight variations in wax color, texture, and small surface imperfections are normal and do not affect performance or burn quality.

For optimal scent throw and burn performance, we recommend burning your candle within one (1) year of purchase.

5. Clean Product Positioning and Sensitivity Disclaimer

We strive to select ingredients aligned with our internal clean standards. However, individual sensitivities and allergies may occur.

You are responsible for reviewing product details and discontinuing use if irritation or adverse reaction occurs. If you have sensitivities, consult a qualified professional before use.

Our Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

6. Candle and Fire Safety Disclaimer

Candles involve an open flame and must be used responsibly.

By purchasing and using our candles, you agree to follow standard safety practices, including:

  • Never leaving a burning candle unattended

  • Keeping candles away from children, pets, and flammable objects

  • Burning on a stable, heat-safe surface

  • Keeping the wick trimmed properly

  • Discontinuing use if the container becomes damaged

Improper use may result in fire, injury, or property damage. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Casa de Ajéí is not responsible for damages arising from misuse or failure to follow care instructions.

7. Orders and Payment

We offer guest checkout only.

By placing an order, you represent that:

  • You are authorized to use the payment method provided

  • Your billing and shipping information is accurate

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for the full purchase amount

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for suspected fraud, pricing errors, inventory limitations, or other legitimate reasons. If payment has already been processed, a refund will be issued where applicable.

8. Shipping and Processing

We ship within the United States and Puerto Rico only.

Carriers: USPS and UPS
Processing time: 1–3 business days

Estimated transit times after processing:

  • USPS Priority Mail: 2–3 business days

  • UPS: 3–5 business days

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

Casa de Ajéí is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather events, or incorrect addresses entered at checkout.

9. Shipping Issues and Claims

If your order arrives damaged, missing items, or appears lost in transit, you must contact us at heart@casadeajei.com within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.

Include:

  • Photos of the product and outer packaging

  • Photo of the shipping label

  • Your order number

Without required documentation, we may be unable to process a carrier claim.

10. Returns and Replacements

Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final.

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact heart@casadeajei.com within five (5) days of delivery with your order number and photographic proof.

If eligible, we will arrange a replacement.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including product names, descriptions, text, photography, labels, logos, graphics, and design — is the property of Casa de Ajéí or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Tuned to Love

  • House of the Heart

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, or use any content without our prior written consent.

12. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for unlawful purposes

  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction

  • Infringe upon our intellectual property rights

  • Transmit malware or harmful code

  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Site

  • Interfere with security features

We reserve the right to terminate access for violations.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and Products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Casa de Ajéí (Nomi Glow Co.) shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Purchase or use of Products

  • Shipping delays

  • Candle misuse

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the applicable order.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Casa de Ajéí and its affiliates, owners, and service providers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site or Products.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be brought in state or federal courts located in Washington State.
